Patreon is giving creators the ability to let non-Patrons read some teasers about your latest pay-walled content.
Creators now have access to a “Public Teaser Text” field when they make a new post. This text appear will on the creator’s Posts page when someone who’s not a member looks at the creator’s feed.
The field will automatically use the first line of text from your post to Patrons, but it’s customizable.
Previously the post would only show the subject line of the post to non-Patrons, so this is a nice little addition that’ll hopefully help convert fans. Creators could get really creative with this field. “Wanna see what we’re planning for this week’s show? Pledge now!”
